100 Moments in Mosaic Season 3

The One Hundred Moments in Mosaic project is a non-juried collection of work representing the full spectrum of SAMA’s diverse and richly creative membership. The work of seasoned professionals is displayed alongside enthusiastic newcomers to the mosaic making process, culminating in 100+ moments of life rendered in mosaic by artists from all over the world.
This collection was presented on October 31 – November 3, 2019, at the Sculpture Objects Functional Art & Design Expo in Chicago, Illinois at the famed Navy Pier.


Ways of the Cross #6 -  mixed media of smalti, brass, glass, abalone shells and natural stones. 
The piece has found a new home - in the collection of Debi Schusler, South Carolina USA.

A tarpaulin of the artist welcomes visitors at the gate of Ranchito Milagro. A gong from Bali dating from the 1850s welcomes guests and is banged whenever a sale is made.
For Art at the Source 2018, the Santa Rosa Garden Club organized a garden tour of Ranchito Milagro -designed by landscape architect Gary Ratway.

Art at the Source, first weekend, June 2-3, 2018

The showroom-The Gardens of Ranchito Milagro, a 4 acre property with an 1850s farmhouse surrounded by lush forests, flowers, righ vegetation with pool, lavender fields, fountains and a labyrinth. The place is considered as Sebastopol's best kept secret.


Medusa driftwood art from Bali is the center of the reception table. Publicity from Sonoma West, Sonoma Magazine, The Press Democrat, the Bohemian etc. is on display including the book The Green Art and Rogue Magazine.


An 1850s gong from Bali welcomes the guests.

Art at the Source Day 4, June 11, 2017

Day 4 was significant because the artist's mother, opera singer Crescencia Lopez made it to 
Ranchito Milagro from her nursing home in San Pablo, due to the gracious help of friends 
from Vallejo-Elaine Entrata, Gerson Perez and Chill Cauli.

Art at the Source, Day 2, June 4, 2017


Day 2 Sunday saw a steady flow of guests from opening till closing..They mainly read the Press Democrat Cover story of "Art and Garden" written by Meg McConahey on the June 3, 2017 issue.

More guests came by word of mouth from Sfo. Ca., Healdsburg,  Napa, etc.

The gardens became a haven for artists! Local artists Susan Cornelis and artist friends were all over the area with their easels, watercolors and sketch pads interpreting the gardens into artworks.

Special guest is Fil-Am actress Debbie Miller Moss with her husband, David from Reno, Nevada.
The actress was on Primetime TV in the Philippines with the toprated sitcom "Palibhasa Lalaki" in the 80s.

A total of 600 guests visited Ranchito Milagro during the first weekend of Art at the Source. Some are  artists, collectors, families with children and a few pancreatic cancer patients who came to see Jonathan Melrod to seek advise on how to fight the deadliest form of cancer.


Top left:Unexpected Guest of Honor was Lita Rocha Clearsky with hat, who came with a friend. The sister of Eddie Rocha, film producer from the Philippines who was the artist's guest of honor during her first one woman show "Body and Soul" in 2016.

Art At the Source Open Studio, Day 1, June 3, 2017

 An instant High School Reunion of the artist's batchmate from the Holy Trinity Academy, in Manila Philippines. They ignored the invitation of the artist to attend her exhibit .. Irene Landicho, Malou Locsin, Arlinda Paraiso, Cora Bengco, and  Malou Lagman with husband Ricky, then surprised her by flying from Nevada, So. California etc.

Body and Soul, a One Woman Show, October 19-November 3, 2016
